PAYMENT PROCESSING

At The James Lee House, we provide a convenient and secure credit card processing system on our website that allows you to easily make your reservations with a few clicks. Reservations for one night stays are charged in full when you book the room. All reservations made within 14 days of the arrival date will be charged in full at the time of booking. Multiple night stays prior to 14 days of arrival are charged a 50% deposit per room per night; the remaining balance will be automatically processed to the credit card on file 14 days prior to arrival. CANCELLATIONS

A $50 cancellation fee per room per night will be charged for all cancellations made prior to 14 days of your reserved date. You are responsible for full payment of your reservation two weeks (14 days) before your arrival date. Only emails and calls made personally to the innkeeper will be recognized for cancellation.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Please note that for the smooth operation of our inn and the comfort of our guests, we request that any other arrival or departure times be agreed upon prior to your arrival.

SMOKING AND CANDLES

For insurance reasons, we are a smoke-free property. This includes inside and outside areas. Please note that there will be a $250 smoking surcharge if you are found smoking on the premises, and your remaining reservation will be forfeited without refund. Also, the use of candles is not permitted.

ROOM OCCUPANCY

We have a two person per room maximum, to which we strictly adhere. This means that only registered guests are granted access to the property at all times.

A NOTE TO BRIDES

We are honored to be a special part of your big day and have a long tradition of hosting newlyweds at The James Lee House. We will work with you on ease of check-in or late arrival. Please contact us so that we can make your arrival as seamless as possible. We are a wedding venue, and as such we are available for rehearsal dinners, photographers, hairdressers, makeup artists, family members, bridal party preparations, and gatherings.

CHILDREN AND PETS

Due to the historic nature of the property and its furnishings, we cannot accommodate either children or pets at The James Lee House.
